Memorial Day Weekend Trip to Yankee Stadium

This past Memorial Day, we drove up to NY to spend the weekend with some friends in from Seattle. The plan was to drop Kian off at the grandparents, take the train to Manhattan Saturday night, party in Greenwich Village and go to the game the next day. We had a great time that night 'till the wee hours in the mornin. The game Sunday was a bit rough, but it was fun seeing Ichiro and the Mariners in NY. They were winning too...that is until a 8th inning rally by the Yanks.

Easter Egg Hunt

Every year our neighborhood puts on an Easter egg hunt
for the kids in the neighborhood. They fill the local
park with hundreds of plastic eggs (some with prizes inside)
and the kids run around and collect as many as they can
(until they hit their quota).
